In the first part of my thesis I describe those events that preceeded the outbreak of the Civil War in England in 1642. I examine the ways that led to the fightings in the three kingdoms – England, Scotland and Ireland; I focus on the relationship of the Crown and the Parliament before the war; on the Scottish and the Irish contribution, events which highlighted the differences of the two sides in the war; and on their consequences, before the war in England began.hu_HU
