MRSA is one of common multi-drug resistant bacteria and it can cause infections everywhere in or body. In my thesis, basic knowledges about Staphylococcus aureus and MRSA are reviewed first. Then, antibiotics frequently used for treatment of MRSA infections are summarized. I also focus on treatment options for MRSA infections based on affected systems. Moreover, new therapeutic approaches rather than antibiotics are mentioned. They are currently not used commonly but can be one of helpful options for refractory MRSA infections in the future.
