dc.description.abstractMedicinal and aromatic plant sector has a huge importance for economy of Kosovo; first of all it’s decreasing the unemployment rate and it’s increasing the export value. In addition, this sector is involving components such as rural development, employing of women and youth, and using comparative advantages. In this regard the profit calculations, evaluation of added value products and two sided comparative analysis are methods that author has chosen in order to apply economic analysis for this sector. Regarding the actors of MAP sector, farmers usually have higher profit per unit, because they are involved in activities like harvesting. Whereas collection points and main companies have lower profit per unit, however they are working with economy of scale. Profitability also is depending on the characteristics of the plants, climatic factors and by activities of actors.hu_HU
