The objective in this thesis will be about drugs given after heart transplantation. Today heart transplantation is the 3rd most common organ to transplant after kidney and lung. It is estimated that the need of transplantation of the heart is 10 folds more than what is transplanted in today’s society. Furthermore, I will emphasize the importance of new medication designed to increase the survival rate of the heart transplant. Today regenerative medicine is not fully developed when it comes to the heart as an organ, I will therefore discuss the impact that organ printing can have in the future when the research have been understood more extensively.
