My thesis described the various types of flaps that are used in dentoalveolar surgery. It described various kinds of surgeries and the flap types used in the different cases including periapical surgery, periodontal surgery, removal of impacted teeth and so on. It described the flaps, their indications as well as their advantages and disadvantages. It also described some complications that could arise in the case when the flaps are not raised properly.
