Vaccination Methods in Adults

Vaccination is the treatment with a bio-preparation known as a vaccine, to produce immunity via an immune response against a specific disease the vaccine used is given for. The impact of vaccination on Global health is undeniable, millions of deaths have been prevented because of vast vaccine administrations programs against various infective diseases. This thesis reviews some of the intricate machinery surrounding vaccination with an intentional view on adults. For a successful vaccination to occur, the right vaccine containing effective antigens and a proper route for vaccination administration must work in concert. Over the years vaccine development has greatly advanced to maximize both cost and effectiveness in terms of immunogenicity. Along with this the methods by which these vaccines are being administered is constantly being updated and explored.
