This thesis investigates implementing lean techniques (5S, Root Cause Analysis, and Kanban) to improve the maintenance process at Style Textile Private Limited. A case study examines these methodologies' efficacy in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing downtime, optimizing inventory management, and improving workplace safety. The study utilizes qualitative and quantitative data analysis, drawing on observations, interviews, and maintenance records. Findings reveal significant improvements in maintenance task efficiency, a reduction in equipment downtime by a notable percentage, streamlined inventory management resulting in cost savings, and enhanced workplace safety standards.
