dc.description.abstractPeripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a type of vascular diseases in which the blood vessels of the body are affected by the atherosclerotic formation. Many risks factors of PAD have been identified. Understanding the risk factors may help patients to improve the outcome by applying nonpharmacological and pharmacological therapy. Many studies and trials have been carried out to investigate and evaluate the effect as well as the reliability of the drugs on patients. Understanding the characteristics and properties of the drugs will help physician to consider using them appropriately to treat PAD.hu_HU
