The aim of our study is to try to outline, through the urban and architectural efforts of the post-Trianon civic town, the partial results the population of Debrecen was able to present in terms of civic, urban, church and state investments, starting from the inner city ring and reaching to the outskirt dimensions. In addition to all this, we are looking for the answer to the question of how Debrecen coped with the tasks, facing it at that time, when it necessarily became the second largest and most populous city in the country.
