dc.description.abstractThe purpose of my paper is to explore the circumstances of the 1969 Vojvodina Hungarian novel writing competition, which served as a stage in the paradigm shift in (children’s) literature. I explore those intellectual movements, insights, forming poetical and thematic ways through which the (young adult) novel corpus in Vojvodina came into existence, and which corpus is defined by the novels of Nándor Gion, Ottó Tolnai and István Domonkos, among others.en
