dc.description.abstractThe study aims to present and compare school social work in Hungary and the United Kingdom. The aim of the research is to get to know the activities in the two countries in more detail, pointing out the similarities and differences in practice. The research questions shed light on the conditions of the operation of social work in Hungarian and British schools, the cooperation of the social worker with the educational institution, and the activities carried out there. We conducted semi-structured interviews as a method of research with 14 social workers in close contact with schools and specifically school social workers. The operation of mental health teams organized in educational institutions not only serves to protect children but the establishment and coordination of such a professional team can also increase the acceptance and influence of the school social worker in the institution.en
dc.description.abstractA tanulmány a Magyarországon és Nagy-Britanniában működő iskolai szociális munkát mutatja be és hasonlítja össze egymással. A kutatás célja a két országban végzett tevékenység részletesebb, pontosabb megismerése, rámutatva a gyakorlatban megvalósuló hasonlóságokra és a különbségekre. A kutatási kérdések rávilágítanak a magyar és a brit iskolai szociális munka működésének körülményeire, a szociális munkás és az oktatási intézmény együttműködésére, valamint az ott végzett tevékenységekre. A kutatás módszereként félig strukturált interjúkat készítettünk (n=14) az iskolákkal szoros kapcsolatban álló szociális munkásokkal és kifejezetten iskolai szociális munkásokkal. Az oktatási intézményekben megszervezett mentálhigiénés-teamek működtetése nem csak a gyermekek védelmét szolgálják, hanem egy ilyen szakmai csapat létrehozása és koordinálása az iskolai szociális munkás elfogadottságát és befolyását is növelheti az intézményben.hu
