The study introduces the United Nations peacekeeping operations through examples. We get to know the Security Council and the process of the peacekeeping activities. Through the example of the Darfur conflict in Sudan, we can see how a peacekeeping operation works, what are the challenges and what can be the solutions. At the end, we realize how complex a civil war is and how much effect it has on the international peace.
