My thesis explores the business practices of the 20th Century and how different innovative strategies led by governments resulted in the modern platform economy business type. The thesis explores the largest platform economies, their origins and the tech spaces they dominate as well as the future of Web 3.0 and where the biggest conglomerates of tomorrow will be coming from and the technologies they will provide.
