The first aim of this thesis work was to evaluate the skin disorder, psoriasis from pharmaceutical stand point. Besides describing the pathology and epidemiology of the disease we to demonstrated the possibility of use of HaCaT immortalised human keratinocytes as in vitro inflamed skin tissue model. We scaled up the method of HaCaT cell culturing, starting from thawing frozen cells thru adjusting the conditions of inflamed tissue models and cell viability tests.
