Ozone therapy differs from current conventional therapeutic methods. It is a minimally invasive, conservative, relatively affordable, and painless treatment. This thesis focuses on using ozone in restorative dentistry. Ozone, however, is inevitably hazardous to the lungs and other organs. Therefore, the emphasis on contraindications should be noted, and further research regarding its routine use in dentistry should be commenced.
