The aim of the study is to approach LA from multiple disciplines to construct a clinical picture with both width and depth. Preliminary investigations in the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system orient the study to provide context for the pharmacologic aspects. The study explores the expansive role of LA from a broad clinical scope such as indications and associated risks, and also the unique chemical properties of amide and ester groups. LA has proven to be reliable and effective in improving patient comfort and compliance.
