Absztrakt
Strategic innovation flourishes in an innovative organizational culture. When people in a company celebrate innovation and uniqueness, value the lessons learned from mistakes, adopt a tolerant approach to encountered issues, apply flexibility when necessary, and continuously review and tolerate errors in processes, an innovation culture develops. Strategic innovation represents an extraordinary combination of innovation and corporate strategy. In recent years, it has risen to the top of the agendas of senior executives and academia. The primary drivers are defined as external environmental uncertainty, internal organizational characteristics, and top management teams, all of which interact with each other. From the perspectives of organizational cognition and change, strategic innovation is generally summarized through several processes, including strategic innovation thinking, strategic innovation formation, strategic innovation implementation, and strategic innovation monitoring. Strategic innovation focuses primarily on pursuing future and sustainable advantages, providing dynamic value for firms' potential competitive positions and their customers. Ultimately, they have all been integrated into an analytical framework to systematically understand strategic innovation and offer concrete recommendations for practice.
