This thesis focuses on the therapy of two neurodegenerative diseases is discussed in detail. The diseases themselves are discussed briefly in this thesis. These two diseases are multiple sclerosis and spinal muscular atrophy. The treatment of these diseases has improved vastly in the past decade. Therapeutic advancements have improved patients' quality of life and life expectancy with these devastating diseases.
