dc.description.abstract | In my thesis, I shall examine the effect of stereotyping Native Americans, using Sherman Alexie`s contemporary work and the film Smoke Signals. Through analyzing Native American literature, examples of stereotypes will be brought to attention using Alexie's three collection of short stories.
