Treatment of Hyperlipidemia
Absztrakt
The Hyperlipidemia is a medical disorder, which is also known as Hypercholesterolemia or Hyperlipoproteinemia. The term hyperlipidemia refers to condition of abnormal excess of fatty substances. Lipids in the blood stream, commonly divided into cholesterol and triglycerides. Cholesterol circulates in the bloodstream and is involved in the structure and function of cells. Triglycerides (TG) are best viewed as energy that is either used immediately or stored in fat cells. Treatment options are Non-pharmacological or/and Pharmacological. The goals of therapy are to reduction of LDL cholesterol levels, reaching to the level of therapeutic lifestyle change and proper drug therapy
