Low energy alpha-nucleus optical potentials are important ingredients of reaction cross section calculations relevant in various processes of heavy element nucleosynthesis, such as the astrophysical p-process. The optical potential can be studied directly by high precision alpha elastic scattering experiments. The aim of this thesis was to determine the elastic scattering cross section of the 64Zn isotope and to carry out an optical potential analysis on the experimental data.hu_HU
