Heart failure is a burden to the health care system. With the high mortality and incident mortality rate, physicians must work dutifully and meticulously to ensure improvement of patient conditions. The immediate initiation of rapid acting drugs help to reduce the mortality rates. General patient symptoms must be assessed before the commencement of long term treatment. Ventilatory assistance is employed for patients with breathing difficulties. Endotracheal intubation is the last resort after other treatment methods have failed to alleviate breathing complaints. Life style and dietary changes should be recommended for all patients with heart failure.hu_HU
