This review discussed evidence about the effects of air pollution on the COVID-19 pandemic around the world. These effects include the effects on the SARS-2 virus transmission and on the morbidity and mortality rates of COVID-19. The review found an important role of air pollution in the pandemic situation and a crucial impact on virus transmission.
