Endodontic-periodontal lesions can be challenging for the dentists nowadays due to close connection of pulp and periodontium as well as the similar signs and symptoms. The etiology for both the endodontic disease and periodontal disease are bacterial infections, but their clinical presentation is non-identical. There are different classifications according to the primary cause of the disease by Simon et al., primary disease with its secondary effect, and the present clinical status proposed by Herrera et al. in 2017 according to 1999 categorization system for Periodontal Diseases and Conditions. The successful management of endodontic-periodontal lesions is to perform accurate diagnosis and treatment to increase the prognosis. Last but foremost, follow up the case to ensure the healing tendency to determine the retrospective diagnosis.
