We aim to investigate the effects of bile on different micro- rheological parameters, which determine tissue perfusion by conducting experiments both in vivo and in vitro. For the in vivo aspect, we plan to inject different concentrations of bile into the rat specimens and observe the changes in heart rate and blood pressure over a certain period. For the in vitro aspect, our aim is to determine the effects of different concentrations of bile on different hematological parameters, over a certain time period. It was concluded that bilemia directly affects hemodynamic parameters and causes micro-rheological deterioration. A possible dose-dependent effect could also be observed, in vitro. Micro-rheological and microcirculatory alterations can be part of liver injury complications via the direct effect of bile and biliary acids.
