In my thesis, I will present the history of coffee and its culture in the United States. The United States is a perfect case study if we would like to understand the advanced consumption of coffee and how the drinking habits changed from the early times till nowadays. The following chapters will present the origin of coffee, Starbucks and Yuppie coffees (specialty coffees).
