In the following chapters I am going to analyze selected short stories of ethnic writers focusing on and highlighting the immigrants experiences in multi- ethnic societies, and I will show that the themes of quest for identity, a sense of belonging, stereotyping, silence and the role of language, and marginalization are common features of these stories and a shared experience of migrants.hu_HU
