The goals of this dissertation were firstly, to gather data and analyze how specific features of the oral cavity might provide input about the severity and/or extent of cognitive degeneration. The second goal was to serve as a reference for oral health care providers globally in order to effectively manage this class of disorders. This disseration is primarily focused on cognitive impairment disorders rather than the movement disorders as well.
