dc.descriptionThe Quality of Life Panel Researchin Nyíregyháza (2008-2018) has been examining thechanges in allowances. Similarly to the national data, thereis a decrease in household allowance, the allowance foreconomically active people, and the number of people gettingallowances. This study examines whether these tendenciesare the same in two segregated areas, the Husar andEastern settlements in Nyíregyháza, since here the residentsare in a more disadvantageous position which stems fromtheir education attainment, housing conditions, employmentand related financial situation. Although the rate of thosewho live and get allowance is higher than that of the citydwellers, despite being entitled to allowances fewer peoplehave applied for them. In this study we examine the underlyingreasons by analysing our sample through social andeconomic characteristics, and along their changing attitudetowards allowances.
dc.descriptionA Nyíregyháza Megyei Jogú Város és a DebreceniEgyetem Egészségügyi Kara együttműködésében megvalósuló“Nyíregyháza Város Életminősége” kutatássorozatlehetőséget nyújt a lakosság életminőségének vizsgálatára. Akutatás során az életminőség egyes elemeinek vizsgálatán túlelemezni tudtuk a szociális ellátások igénybevételének gyakorlatát,célzottságát, hatásosságát. Annak ellenére, hogy ahelyi szociális ellátások és támogatások rendszere megőriztestabilitását, a legújabb eredmények csökkenő igénybevételirátákat mutattak. Ebben a tanulmányban megvizsgáljuk afenti folyamatok főbb okait a mintába került lakosság szociális,gazdasági jellemzőinek elemzésével, valamint a segélyezésselkapcsolatos attitűdök változása tükrében.
