Notably, the exploration of novel drugs includes dual-acting GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonists, SGLT-2 inhibitors, and the combination of Bupropion and Naltrexone. These innovative pharmacotherapies aim to enhance the management of metabolic disorders, reduce complications, and ultimately improve health outcomes. The research underscores the need for collaborative patient engagement, regular monitoring, and follow-up assessments to tailor effective treatment regimens based on individual responses and health goals.
