dc.description.abstractChildren's mental health issues often go unnoticed and are underdiagnosed, primarily due to societal perceptions and the lack of clearly defined diagnostic criteria. Conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, and autism are particularly susceptible to this phenomenon. Pharmacological treatment for these disorders may face delays stemming from ethical concerns, limited clinical trials, and apprehensions regarding potential long-term developmental impacts. Nevertheless, the integration of pharmacotherapy with behavioral and interpersonal therapies can be advantageous, especially for severe symptoms that significantly affect a child's quality of life.
