dc.description.abstractChinese hamster ovary cell line derived from the Chinese hamster epithelial tissue is one of the most used laboratory errand cell culture used in biological and medical research and commercially in the production of therapeutic proteins as well as wide use in studies of genetics, toxicity screening, nutrition and gene expression, particularly to express recombinant proteins. As a recombinant protein its used against Hemophilia A and B,indeed even in cancer researches. Most interesting fact is that the hamster chromosomal numbers are surprisingly close to human chromosome numbers which makes it the ideal choice. Our research based on this novel cell culture to find the cell division time and cell size in 2 different passages of cell line.hu_HU
