Analyzing the Rejected RO Water and Exploring Alternative Utilization Methods for a Company

Abstract

The wastewater treatment plant of Henkel in Körösladány, Hungary faces the formidable problem of the occurrence of high operational costs in connection with the transportation and disposal of the RO-rejected water to the city wastewater treatment plant. This financial pressure illustrates the critical importance of an environmentally friendly and cost-effective way for rejected RO-treated water that still has traces of contaminants. Addressing this issue is of paramount importance for achieving the best combination of production efficiency, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance.
