dc.description.abstractThe wastewater treatment plant of Henkel in Körösladány, Hungary faces the formidable problem of the occurrence of high operational costs in connection with the transportation and disposal of the RO-rejected water to the city wastewater treatment plant. This financial pressure illustrates the critical importance of an environmentally friendly and cost-effective way for rejected RO-treated water that still has traces of contaminants. Addressing this issue is of paramount importance for achieving the best combination of production efficiency, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance.
