This thesis summarises the novel treatments of HIV. Description of the mechanisms that allow HIV to survive latently within the human body, epidemiology, and the current treatments that are prescribed for HIV. Furthermore, it goes into depth about the current issues surrounding HIV, stigma, and drawdowns of modern treatment. Finally, it entails the new approaches that are being studied today and how they may help with the prognosis of those infected.
