Cardiotoxicity of cancer chemotherapy drugs is a challenge for oncologists and patients. This thesis summarizes the toxic effects of some chemotherapy drugs. It talks about the pathomechanisms of the different drugs and about the epidemiology. It also talks about the methods of detection and possible imaging techniques used to diagnose cardiotoxicity. Finally it gives advise on how to prevent and manage these toxic effects.
