dc.description.abstractThis paper touches on the types of M&As as well as the differences between a merger and an acquisition and the motives behind each one. It will specifically discuss several challenges that occur while implementing these cross-border M&As. This paper also contains a case study on how culture can affect a cross-border M&A involving German and American working relationships. It will also examine how Competition Law affects cross-border M&As in the European Union. Finally, this paper will examine the 10th Company Law Directive on Cross Border Mergers in light of the European Union fundamental freedom of establishment.hu_HU
