dc.description.abstractThe theme of my dissertation is the Titanic as a symbol in our life based on James Cameron’s film. [...] As in the case of the outside and inside parts of the ship, the people travelling on board the Titanic are also represented faithfully. The fidelity of representation regarding the passengers of different social classes is also indispensable for understanding the symbolic meaning of the Titanic and the real message of the film.hu_HU
