Cystic fibrosis is a relatively rare, genetically based disease, that affects various organs, primarily the respiratory tract and the gastrointestinal system. The main location of this damaging disease is the liver and the pancreas. Cystic fibrosis is one of the main medical concerns of modern medical practice. A number of various drugs and non-pharmacological methods were developed for treating this illness, but there are also new endeavors to discover new drugs. This thesis deals with both the pharmacological and non-pharmacological features of the treatment of this disease.
