This thesis investigates the long-term psychological effects of childhood bullying in young adults. Using data from 104 participants aged 18 to 25, the study examined the relationships between childhood victimisation, coping strategies, anxiety, and self-esteem. The results showed that childhood bullying was associated with higher anxiety, lower self-esteem, and greater maladaptive coping, while no significant relationship was found with adaptive coping. The findings suggest that bullying can continue to affect psychological functioning in young adulthood and underline the importance of prevention, counselling, and targeted support for those affected.
