| dc.description.abstract | Pop-culture, the mass media and social platfroms have always been correlated. Influenced by those there are linguistic changes in the English language that have occured over time. While these changes are not academically accepted, disregarding them would be blatant ignorance. The newer generations having been involved with technologies mean that they are also more prone to these changes. The main focus of the research is to observe these changes and their relations to popular culture, the way they are used in context, as well as the attitude that society has towards them. | |
