The thesis describes how Pullman alters some important issues regarding religion. Three topics or themes were chosen from the trilogy to illustrate these subversions. I chose these three - Dust, God and daemons - because they are the basic parts in the whole structure and they are the most important ones. These issues represent how the Church could think in other perspectives as well. What Pullman wants to achieve is to make people realize how important their freedom is and they should not blindly follow the Church.
