The cosmetic usage of skin lightening products is a widely application in dark-skinned people in all around the world. The aim of this diploma work was to demonstrate the importance of cosmetics in a special application. Besides the well known objectives of these compositions, special active compounds and formulations had been described. Moreover, I tried to reveal possible disorders caused by skin lightening cosmetics.
