This thesis details the different treatment options for Crohn's disease and the pro's and con's of each category of drug used in treatment. Included is a short review of the history and pathophysiology of Crohn's disease as well as likely complications. Highlighted towards the end is newer therapies and some promising upcoming therapies like the mycobacterium parainfluenza virus vaccine.
