| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, digital dentistry, once was considered unacceptably expensive, is becoming the inevitable trend. Advanced digitalised dentistry technology for virtual impressions-taking, treatment planning for patients, design and 3D fabrication of dental prosthesis transformed thousands of dental offices and laboratories around the world. Especially, the prosthetic restoration is heavily influenced and reshaped by these novel digitalised methods in regards to several different aspects. Each patient's anatomy is unique, and each treatment plan needs to be customised and individualised. Digital dentistry reduces risk and uncertainty from the human element, delivering greater continuity, while being precise and accurate at delivering information with different steps of the procedure. | |
