| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to examine whether foliar nutrient treatments can improve the abiotic stress tolerance of genotypes of soybean (Glycine max L.) grown in Hungary under drought-prone and non-irrigated conditions. The research focuses on assessing the effects of foliar applications of selenium (Se), silicon (Si), and sulfur (S) – individually and in combination – on key morphophysiological and yield parameters of different soybean genotypes. In 2022, four varieties (Ananda, Suraja, Yakari and Pocahontas) were tested under Se, Si and Se + Si treatments, whereas in 2023, the varieties (Paula, Suraja, Yakari and Pocahontas) were treated with Se 2.5mg m-2, Optysil, S, and Novosil. | |
