The goal of my thesis research is to identify precursor of imminent failure by analyzing results of computer simulations of fracture models. In this thesis we work out an extension of the classical ber bundle model (FBM) in order to investigate the e ect of disorder of local material properties such as Young modulus and strength of bers on the fracture process and on the transition from brittle to quasi-brittle phases of this process.hu_HU
