This thesis provides a systematic review of the causes leading to periprosthetic osteolysis by the current literature and the radiologic assessments of revision hip arthroplasty using structural proximal femoral allografts to reconstruct massive proximal femoral bone loss including a research and a medium term radiological follow-up which was done in the Orthopedic Surgery Department of The University of Debrecen.
