The raw materials for numerous other industries that are crucial to the strength of the national economy and military security are produced by the iron and steel industry. Therefore, nations that control the world's steel market will surely have influence over events there. China produces and consumes the most steel in the world, contributing around 24% of all steel exports. The continuous conflicts and tensions between China and the United States will have an impact on the commercial growth of all countries, including the steel business. Studying the effects of the Sino-US trade war on the steel sector is urgently needed since tariffs and the economy have a significant impact on the steel industry.
