The etiology of Borderline Personality Disorder is still unknown. However, the current study paradigm could be converged as it might be attributed by malevolent developmental framework and maladaptive integration of self-controlling capacity created by insecure attachment. OT system has important role in formation of secure attachment in which could be affected by genetic and environmental interaction and highly amenable during the certain sensitive period especially from the environmental context especially such as their parents' attachment style. Further studies about OT system are required and it has strong potential contributing huge improvement for both prevention and treatment of BPD
